Coming from an operatic heritage and over 25 years of classical training and professional experience, Katrina’s repertoire features beloved ballads (old & new) through to powerfully moving Classical/Opera, Stage, Jazz, Contemporary, Church music and more.

KATRINA NOELA
MATT learnt to sing in St John’s Cathedral Choir, Brisbane. He studied Music at the Queensland Conservatorium, graduating with a major in Musicology and a minor in Music Theory. He later completed his Associate Diploma in Piano, his Associate Diploma in Theory, and went on to study Education.
He started performing live as Benny in the ABBA tribute band Arrival Australia. He also worked with this team on The Magic of Olivia and Disco Mania.
He began amateur theatre on the Gold Coast in 2010, and starred as Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret (ZenZenZo, 2011). In 2012 he moved to Melbourne where he has performed ever since.
He was the musical director for Jesus Christ Superstar (MLOC, 2015) and The Boy From Oz (MLOC, 2018) and most recently starred as Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz (Theatrical Inc, 2024).
Aside from playing keyboards for a rock band and disco band, he MC’ed a Donna Summer show, he wrote 4 shows for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival (Shoulda Coulda Woulda, 2013; Classy as All of Youse, 2017; HAM, 2019; Middle Aged Matt In Lycra, 2023).
He has performed his award-winning tribute cabarets around Australia: Peter Allen Live in Inverted Commas, Elton John - Your Song, George Michael - Gotta Have Faith, and Billy Joel - Just the Way You Are.

PETER ALLEN was the ultimate Aussie entertainer, starting in rural NSW and taking on the world! His brief marriage to Liza Minnelli meant that one of his chief mentors was the legendary Judy Garland.
Peter’s captivating performances boil down to two key elements that made him unique: songs that were so well written that they meant what they needed to mean to whoever needed to hear them, and the fact that he could sing them straight to you without ever looking away. The respect he had for his audience was legendary.
